The parcel I've sent to my partner, Tiiamaria, has arrived weeks ago. She rated me in the swap site. I don't know why she hasn't posted anything in this blog, or in her blog, or anywhere else. I would have liked to let you all see what I've sent!
Ciao Gomitolina, for me it is the same issue...my parcel was well received, and I was rated on swapbot, but my recipient never posted a pic here or on her blog :( Such a shame, because I must admit that seeing pics of what we sent is also part of the fun...or am I wrong?
Hello. This is a blog where members of the Swap Bot Secret Knitting Pal swap can share their comments and pictures relating to the swap.
This is a swap for European knitters/crocheters! (Of course, it won't be so secret, but the name always sounds nice!) You will have one partner. You should send them a package of all knitting related goodies. This doesn't have to be restricted to yarn, needles and notions, it could include books, hand cream, tea, anything you think you need if you're a knitter! Have a look through your partner's profile to see what they like, colours, yarns, if they have any allergies etc. Please don't send cheap acrylic yarn, try to send good quality items, I'm sure that everyone will agree that it's nicer to receive one or two more expensive items rather than lots of cheap and nasty ones! Natural fibers and blends please. I think you should spend somewhere in the region of 20-25 Euro for this swap. This swap is open to all European members with a rating of 4.5+. No no-sends. Newbies are welcome with a full profile, but I will ban anyone who I feel may not contribute well to this swap. I want this to be a good swap for everyone and I don't want it spoiled by flakes! I'm giving you 2 weeks to buy your goodies and get them sent,so you have no excuse not to get something nice! Have fun!
